If I buy a new CD receiver for my car, will it work with my factory speakers?
Your factory speakers should have no problem working with your new CD receiver. You will not be using all the available power your CD receiver has to offer. We recommend purchasing new speakers to fully utilize the performance of your receiver and get the best sound.
How much power does my stereo system require for the best sound?
You should always reference the recommended power range specified by the manufacturer when considering power levels. If you add power and stay within the recommended power range, you will get a better sound without damaging anything.
My sound quality is very poor in my car. I don't need a top-of-the-line sound system, but I would like good sound quality. What can I do?
If you have an older model car with the original CD receiver and speakers, your poor sound quality can usually be attributed to the impact of aging on the speakers. Simply replacing the speakers with new speakers of the same size can drastically improve the sound quality.
